Brad Peterson is understandably proud of his young golden, Sport. During her first pheasant hunt she did a fantastic job of flushing and retrieving. They live in Deerwood, Minnesota.


Dauntless (in back) and Corsair are very good hunting and “people” dogs according to Dick Walker of Hubbardton, Vermont. In the inset picture is a young Corsair with Mustang, another member of the Walker Lab family.

From the lakes of Hettinger, South Dakota, Nikki makes
a retrieve for hunting partner Jeffrey Zimlich. They travel from Medina, Ohio, to hunt in cold waters.

Henry David Thoreau – aka Reau – belongs to Roger and Kristine Harms of Rochester, Minnesota. This photo was taken during Reau’s first duck hunt. The Harms say he is a fabulous hunter and a loving family dog.

Two-year-old Maggie May was actually watching a bald
eagle when owners Robert and Debbie Brown took this shot. They all watch the skies together in Nowata, Oklahoma.
